ASK®-FD: Quick-Disconnect for solids and hygienic applications

Coupling and uncoupling the ASK®-FD Quick Disconnect Coupling is quick and easy. To connect the coupling, position the female connector on the male adaptor of the Quick Disconnect. The coupling is sealed with a single, continuous turn, so that the transported media remains safely inside the line, spill-free. To disconnect the ASK®-FD, just reverse the procedure once the line has been drained.

Fast loading

Integrated swivel joint

On the female side of the coupling, the integrated swivel joint precludes mechanical stress, along with torsion in the pipe. Also, the coupling’s high-quality design ensures permanently smooth swivel joint rotation. The ASK®-FD therefore requires almost no maintenance.

Greater safety with the ARTA pin

The ARTA pin offers another welcome safety precaution. It is located on the female side of the coupling and snaps into the male adaptor to prevent unintentionally releasing the coupling.

Error-free coupling using mechanical lockout

We offer a mechanical lockout option for ARTA Dry Break couplings. This disallows any unintended coupling to a connector carrying a different substance, thereby avoiding mixing the products accidentally.

The ASK®-FD is a globally recognized safety coupling that has been certified by international approval entities. For this reason, there are no safety-related reservations surrounding its use.
